Questionnaire

Let’s make this a yapping session. Write at length. You have stories to tell; I have ears to listen.

This is about you. Feel free to change the questions, add and answer your own, or go off on a tangent. That’s totally cool with me.

1. Tell me your story! Yap away, my friend.

If you’re wondering where to begin, here are a few directions you could take:

Start wherever you like, connect the dots, and follow the parts of your story you want to tell.

2. Which role interests you most here, and why?

Think out loud and introspect. We have four roles: Platform Engineer, Experience Engineer, Product Engineer and Forward-Deployed Engineer.

You could start with what pulls you toward that work, what your past choices suggest about that interest, and where you’re unsure. If you’re torn between roles, work through that tension.

3. Imagine an ordinary Tuesday working here. Take me through it in detail.

Put yourself in the role you’ve chosen and walk me through the day as it unfolds. What are you trying to figure out or build?

Bring the day to life with the problems, decisions and conversations you imagine having. Make up the details you don’t know; this is your imagination of the work, with no expectation that you know our internal routines.
